Hi there, thanks for visiting. Not sure how you arrived here, but I am glad to share my pictures with you. I started shooting when I was just a kid, using my father’s manual Pentax camera. I also used to take apart my parent’s 8mm movie cameras and later, any other analogue cameras I could find around the house.
Long before social media came around, I found I was always framing everything in my mind, but I never thought of myself as a photographer until I met a girl in college who turned my thinking around. She was rather radical and loved taking pictures of things like brick walls. I would watch in wonder as she tinkered for hours in the dark room, washing off variation after variation of prints she pulled from the soup. Eventually, I understood it – it was about stopping time and looking a lot closer; appreciating the things around us that too often just whiz by.
Anyway, about ten years after that I completed a certificate in Cinematography at UCLA and then started shooting much better looking home movies. Some of them even won awards at film festivals.
I live and work out of Hollywood, California and also Toronto, Canada when I go home to visit. I am happy to take headshots, do creatives (my sister is an amazing stylist who always inspired me. She won the Queen’s Silver Jubilee award in design at Nascad in Nova Scotia). So, hit me up if you ever want to talk about working together. I love to capture amazing moments be they big or small.
Thanks for looking and enjoy.
